In order to sell their products, big companies\u00a0 use various tricks to tempt people in different ways. Beautiful women, brand-new cars, luxurious hotels set the stage for an easy, irresponsible lifestyle. Nevertheless, people will not admit they are being tempted through\/by all these. What is temptation then? The dictionary defines it as a strong attraction to something immoral or forbidden as a rule.<\/p>\n<p>Is temptation a sin? Apostle James says that:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>When someone is tempted, he should not say, \u201cI am being tempted by God,\u201d because God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. Instead, each person is tempted by his own desire, being lured and trapped by it.When that desire becomes pregnant, it gives birth to sin; when that sin grows up, it gives birth to death.<\/em> (<em>James 1:13-15<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/bplteensofwa.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/07\/just_say_no.jpg\" alt=\"Make temptation stop on a dime\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Make temptation stop on a dime<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>So it&#8217;s clear that any temptation is rooted in our fleshly desires and its end result is death, which is eternal separation from God. The good news is that you can make temptation and sin <strong>&#8220;stop on a dime&#8221;<\/strong> if you do what the Bible says,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> <\/strong><em>Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:8) <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em> <\/em>and<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>How blessed is the man who endures temptation! When he has passed the test, he will receive the victory&#8217;s crown of life that God has promised to those who keep on loving him. (<em>James 1<\/em>)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you learn to make temptation \u201c<strong>stop on a dime\u201d<\/strong> you will receive the crown of life from God Himself.
